Семінар “Біосферна мережа для відновлення ветеранів” був насиченим та цікавим. Учасниками були представники закладів вищої освіти, установ пиродно-заповідного фонду, громадських та інших організацій, ветерани, діючі військові, волонтери та інші зацікавлені особи. Було надзвичайно приємно бачити різних людей, які об'єднуються заради спільної мети.

В перший, четвертий та п'ятий дні семінару учасники мали можливість ознайомитись з діяльністю організацій, які представляють колеги, їхніми напрацюваннями та досвідом щодо реабілітації ветеранів як в Україні, так і за її межами.  Другий день надав можливість бажаючим відвідати високогірний притулок “Перелісок”, де проводяться терапевтичні табори для військових. Третього дня учасники мали можливість озвучити та за допомогою алгоритму DIY4CHANGE проаналізувати  проблеми та виклики, з якими стикаються ветерани та їхні сім'ї після повернення до цивільного життя, а також установи ПЗФ, громади, заклади вищої освіти. Наступним кроком стала генерація ідей, визначення цільових груп, аналіз можливостей та ризиків у можливих проєктах для реабілітації ветеранів за допомогою природи. Четвертого дня семінару також відбулась поїздка в с. Кваси неподалік Рахова, де на учасників чекала захоплива екскурсія по санаторію “Кваси”, музею та крафтовому виробництву. Останній день заходу був присвячений індивідуальним робочим зустрічам та ознайомленню із грантовими можливостями для реалізації майбутніх проєктів. 

Звичайно, що організатори семінару подбали про автентичні гуцульські страви та музику, що не залишили нікого байдужим. Цей семінар був наповнений емоціями, враженнями, спілкуванням, ідеями та прагненням до реалізації нових спільних проєктів.

The seminar “Biosphere Network for Veterans' Rehabilitation” was intense and interesting. Participants included representatives of higher education institutions, nature conservation organizations, public and other organizations, veterans, active military personnel, volunteers, and other interested parties.  It was extremely pleasant to see different people coming together for a common goal. 

On the first, fourth, and fifth days of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the organizations represented by their colleagues, their achievements, and their experience in rehabilitating veterans both in Ukraine and abroad. The second day provided an opportunity for those who wished to visit the high-altitude shelter “Perelisok”, where therapeutic camps for military personnel are held. On the third day, participants had the opportunity to voice and analyze, using the DIY4CHANGE algorithm, the problems and challenges faced by veterans and their families after returning to civilian life, as well as institutions of the nature conservation, communities, and higher education institutions. The next step was to generate ideas, identify target groups, and analyze the opportunities and risks in possible projects for the rehabilitation of veterans with the help of nature. On the fourth day of the seminar, there was also a trip to the village of Kvasy near Rakhiv, where participants enjoyed a fascinating tour of the Kvasy sanatorium, museum, and craft production facilities. The last day of the event was devoted to individual working meetings and familiarization with grant opportunities for future projects.

Of course, the seminar organizers provided authentic Hutsul cuisine and music, which left no one indifferent. This seminar was filled with emotions, impressions, communication, ideas, and aspirations for the implementation of new joint projects.
